Lukas Podolski explains reason behind Galatasaray move
Lukas Podolski has revealed that he left Arsenal for Galatasaray to boost his chances of playing at Euro 2016 with Germany. The forward, who was part of Die Mannschaft's World Cup winning squad last summer, has moved to Gala after finding first-team opportunities limited at the Emirates Stadium. Podolski has said that Germany coach Joachim Low warned him he must be playing regularly to be in contention for next summer's tournament in France.
