Barclays Asia Trophy welcome reception
Arsenal have arrived in Singapore - and a host of club officials spent part of their first evening attending a Barclays Asia Trophy welcome reception. Arsène Wenger, Ivan Gazidis and Liam Brady, plus Calum Chambers, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mikel Arteta were at the Grand Hyatt hotel. The group met representatives from Barclays and the Premier Legue, as well as staff and players from Everton, Stoke City and the Singapore Select XI Following a series of short speeches, former Arsenal strikers Alan Smith and Niall Quinn rounded off the event by conducting interviews focusing on this week’s tournament.
