Arsenal dealt blow in Chile ace transfer pursuit
Arsenal’s hopes of landing Eduardo Vargas this summer have been dealt a massive blow, with Napoli’s sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, having revealed that the player has offers from the United Arab Emirates and Spain. The Chile international spent last season on loan at QPR, but was unable to keep them in the Premier League. Despite this, he has emerged as a somewhat surprising target for Arsenal in recent weeks, with Gunners hero, Alexis Sanchez, keen on linking up with his compatriot, and fellow attacker, in North London.
