Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta 'struggling with calf injury'
Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta is reportedly carrying a calf strain that is keeping him out of pre-season action. The Spaniard travelled to Singapore with his teammates this week, but he played no part in the Gunners' 4-0 victory in the Barclays Asia Trophy on Wednesday. According to The Times, Arteta's latest setback is not related to the injury that kept him out of action for eight months. The midfielder recently signed a new one-year contract.
