Flamini - Akpom must build on this now
Mathieu Flamini says Chuba Akpom underlined his vast potential in their Barclays Asia Trophy opener.
The 19-year-old scored a hat-trick against a Singapore Select XI on Wednesday as the Gunners cruised into the final, where they will face Everton.
Flamini was impressed by Akpom’s performance and is confident the striker has what it takes to make the grade.
He responded to every chance that he had and took his goals very well
