Trophy Drought Hit Arsenal Hard – Ivan Gazidis
It has been reported that Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis admits their trophy drought was hard on everyone at the club. However, after two consecutive FA Cup triumphs, Gazidis is happy to see Arsene Wenger's hard work finally starting to pay off. 'Well there was a lot of noise [about Wenger's job] and of course it wasn't easy for anybody at the club,' Gazidis told In Focus. 'We all wanted to be doing better. We wanted to be delivering more to our fans. 'The football was always good and we maintained – even through those difficult periods – a high level of consistency year to year.
