Arsenal winger signs new long-term contract
In a move many may not have been expecting, Brazilian winger Wellington Silva has agreed a new long-term contract, as reported by the Daily Star. After getting into the final year of his current deal, Silva's Arsenal career looked destined to come to an end before it even began. He spent a number of seasons out on loan – with mixed success – but after resolving his work permit issues he is finally able to turn out for the club (via the Daily Star). The Star's report suggests he is set for another season out on loan however, with Arsene Wenger keen on the 22-year-old getting some Premier League experience.
