Besiktas Lining Up Bid For Arsenal Striker Danny Welbeck
It has been revealed that Turkish side Besiktas are reported to be readying a bid for Arsenal's English international Danny Welbeck. Having sold former Chelsea striker Demba Ba during the summer, the Turks have been looking for a replacement and see Welbeck as their number one choice according to Turkish newspaper Aksam. Welbeck has been linked to a move away from the Emirates this summer after only scoring eight goals last season and with Besiktas willing to offer up to £10 million, Arsenal may be tempted to part with the 24-year-old.
