Arsenal plot £35m bid for world class striker
Arsene Wenger's desire to sign Real Madrid's Karim Benzema is certainly no secret, and reports suggest we have already failed with a £31m bid this summer (via the Mirror). A new report (via the Mirror) claims we are set to launch another bid for the 27-year-old, with Wenger planning to further test the La Liga giant's resolve with a £35m offer. Benzema would unquestionably add something to our side, and could well prove to be the missing piece to the puzzle.
