Report: Real Sociedad pull plug on Joel Campbell deal
Joel Campbell's expected transfer to Real Sociedad has been called off, according to reports. The Arsenal striker was tipped to join the La Liga side on a permanent basis and bring an end to his Gunners career, which has brought just four first-team apperances. However, the Daily Mail claims that Sociedad boss David Moyes has turned his attentions to Jonathan de Jesus from Elche, which would fill up his quota of non-European Union players. Campbell is now being linked with a switch to Italian side Palermo.
