Arsenal plot 49.5m bid for Benzema alternative & Man United target
Our summer search for a world class striker is no secret, and we've been heavily linked with a move for Karim Benzema (via the Metro). With the Frenchman seemingly staying put at Real Madrid this season however, we have turned our attention to Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski, according to the Express. The Polish striker has an excellent record with the German giants – and with Borussia Dortmund before them – despite seemingly struggling to settle in at the Allianz arena.
