Ozil: Mertesacker is an example to everyone
Mesut Ozil has hailed Per Mertesacker as an example of professionalism, doing his utmost to bring everything he can to the team. The German hailed his former international teammate as someone who leads by example both on and off the pitch. 'He’s very focused, very professional,' he told Arsenal Player. 'He does his job 100 per cent – he’s not the sort of person who does things by half measures. “He’s rather the sort of person who, if he has something in his head, wants to see it through.
