Wolves agree loan deal for Martinez
Wolverhampton Wanderers have struck a verbal agreement with Arsenal over a loan deal for the Gunners' back-up goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. Wolves head coach Kenny Jackett has confirmed the Championship club hope to tie up the transfer. Martinez, 22, has made eight appearances for Arsenal, including four in the Premier League. He played eight times in a six-week loan spell in the Championship with Rotherham at the end of last season. Providing Wolves can get the deal finalised in time, Martinez is set to go straight into the side for Tuesday's League Cup first round tie against Newport County.
