Wenger gives transfer update on Arsenal's top defensive midfield target
We have been repeatedly linked with a move for a defensive midfielder this summer, with Grzegorz Krychowiak the most recently touted transfer target. Arsene Wenger was asked whether there was any chance of us signing the Polish star, but was fairly blunt when giving his answer, as reported by The Telegraph. The 24-year-old has been fantastic since joining Sevilla, and has adapted to La Liga superbly. We have been linked with a £21.4m move for the midfielder (via the Metro), but Wenger is adamant that he won't be arriving at the Emirates this window.
