Opinion: Wenger's words just a smokescreen & Arsenal still chasing Benzema calibre striker
As the final days of the transfer window loom closer, Arsenal fans are starting to worry that we won't be seeing anyone else through the gates at the Emirates. Petr Cech has been our solitary signing so far, and judging by Arsene Wenger's recent comments the Czech looks like being our first and last (via the Daily Star). 'We have good strikers,' he told the official website. 'Walcott was not used today and he’s an exceptional striker, Welbeck is coming back, we have Alexis. We have a strong striking force.'
