Experienced manager claims teen star is ‘going to play for Arsenal'
Arsenal youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles is earning rave reviews after an impressive start to his loan spell at Ipswich Town, with Mick McCarthy certainly a fan of the midfielder, BBC Sport reports. Maitland-Niles impressed for the U-21s last season, and the fact that he was handed his debut in a Champions League tie against Galatasaray shows the trust Arsene Wenger has in the 17-year-old. On that occasion he was brought on for Aaron Ramsey and played in midfield, but Maitland-Niles is equally as comfortable on the flanks – where he seems to be operating for the Championship side.
