Mesut Ozil transfer update: Arsene Wenger forced to address Besiktas ‘enquiry' speculation
Reports on Wednesday night claimed that Besiktas had made an enquiry over the availability of Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil, and Arsene Wenger, the Gunners manager, has inevitably been forced to address the speculation. Erol Kaynar, former Besiktas board member, claims that Erdan Torunogullari, the Turkish club’s transfer chief, met with the representative of the Germany international last week – report. 'Erdal [Torunogullari] met with Mesut Ozil’s representatives last week and made an enquiry,' said Kaynar.
