Boss bemoans lack of striking talent
Arsene Wenger has once again expressed his desire to spend money on the right player, but bemoaned the lack of top class strikers in this summer's transfer market. It's not simply a case of availability, there's a shortage of high level striking talent throughout the European game. The big clubs have the big strikers and they won't be letting them go, while there are few outstanding candidates coming through the next generation.
