Arsenal boss quizzed on Benzema: ‘We expect' a signing & ‘the funds are there'
Arsene Wenger has once again been asked about the possibility of signing Karim Benzema, and once again the manager has given us very little to go on, as reported by The Telegraph. We have long been linked with a move for the Real Madrid striker, and the rumours have really begun to pick up speed in recent weeks (via The Telegraph). It has even been claimed that Real Madrid have accepted a £48m bid from us (via The Telegraph), with a move seemingly close to completion. Arsene Wenger has refused to comment on Benzema himself however, instead discussing the lack of world class talent available.
