Lazio plot Joel Campbell bid?
Lazio have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Arsenal forward Joel Campbell. The 23-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from the Gunners this summer after struggling for playing time. He made just four appearances in the Premier League last season, before being sent out on loan to Villarreal. Recent reports have emerged claiming that Palermo are interested in the Costa Rican, but according to Il Messaggero, Lazio want to sign Campbell on loan to provide cover for the injured Miroslav Klose. Campbell has scored 10 goals in 50 games for Costa Rica, who he represented at last summer's World Cup.
