Arsenal blow as duo look set to miss Newcastle United clash
Arsene Wenger has been dealt another injury blow with the news that defensive pairing Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker could miss the game against Newcastle United at the weekend, the Mirror reports. Koscielny and Mertesacker were shock omissions from our clash on Monday night against Liverpool, suffering from a back injury and flu respectively. It meant that we had to field an inexperienced pairing of Calum Chambers and Gabriel, with Petr Cech marshalling them well throughout the game.
