Arsenal still interested in long-term Serie A target

Arsenal are again reported to be in the hunt for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, according to the Daily Star. The Argentine striker joined the Italian side in 2013 after being heavily linked with a move to the Emirates, and the deal could be back on. Manager Arsene Wenger described himself as ‘optimistic’ in regards to making any last minute additions to his squad before the close of the transfer window at 6pm on Tuesday.
