‘Deal done' – Arsenal agree £45m fee for Cavani as Wenger flies to Paris
The Edinson Cavani to Arsenal rumours have snowballed out of control in what has seemingly been a matter of moments, with a £45m deal now agreed, as reported by the Daily Star. It emerged this past Monday evening that Arsene Wenger had been spotted on a flight to Paris (via the Daily Star), with Arsenal fans hoping it was to secure a deal for the Uruguayan. The report emanated from a Twitter account named GestiFuteFifa, which tweeted a picture which appeared to be Wenger on a plane. The news spread like wildfire, with the Twitterverse taking the story and running with it. Wenger has flown to Paris to discuss personal terms with Cavani.
