Man Utd Transfer Work Embarrassing – Martin Keown
It has been reported that Arsenal hero Martin Keown has branded Manchester United's deadline drama as 'embarrassing'. United made just two signings on Tuesday, with unheralded Monaco striker Anthony Martial arriving for £36m and Newport defender Regan Poole also joining. Keown wrote in his column on the Daily Mail : 'It felt like United were rolling the dice on deadline day,'. 'It is hard to imagine that kind of soap opera happening under Sir Alex Ferguson and David Gill. It was embarrassing.'
