I think Arsene has gone on a little bit of a defensive…. It would seem the media comments about him lying to the fans and being economical with the truth have hit a nerve. We have been told that he didn't know the extent of the injury to Danny Welbeck and that despite this strikers do not just fall from the sky during the transfer window and he didn't think that what was available was value nor would they of added to our squad. We can argue til we green in the face about who or what would of constituted good value or who would or would not of added quality to the squad but he does seem a little flustered by it all.
