Arsenal resumed their Premier League campaign with a 2-0 win over Stoke City at the Emirates, registering their first home win of the season. A first half strike from Theo Walcott and a late strike from Olivier Giroud rounded off a comfortable victory for the Gunners. Stoke City’s horrendous record at the Emirates continued as they lost their eighth game in a row at Arsenal’s home ground.
