Tottenham Hotspur star reveals admiration for Arsenal legend
Tottenham Hotspur star Eric Dier has revealed that he wants to emulate Arsenal legend Tony Adams, according to reports from the London Evening Standard. Dier joined Spurs from Sporting Lisbon last summer as a defender, but the Englishman has been recently deployed in a central midfield role by manager Mauricio Pochettino early in the season. It seems that Dier’s rather unconventional upbringing of being born in England but growing up in Portugal has helped him play in a more advanced position, however the 21-year-old admitted that he wants to become a great leader like former Arsenal centre-back Tony Adams.
