José Mourinho admits Chelsea’s players have been ‘afraid of the ball’
José Mourinho has suggested that some of his Chelsea players have been “afraid of the ball” during the club’s stuttering start to the season but the manager believes that confidence is now back after the 4-0 Champions League win at home to Maccabi Tel Aviv on Wednesday night. The European tonic was extremely timely in light of Chelsea’s return of four points from five Premier League matches and with Arsenal due to visit Stamford Bridge on Saturday lunchtime.
