Reported Man United target close to Marseille move
Recently released Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor is a target for French side Marseille, as reported by talkSPORT. The 30-year old Togolese star was relieved of his duties earlier this month, after a prolonged period during which the player reportedly rejected a move to Aston Villa – needing ‘a sign from God’. Now, he is a free agent and able to register at another club from January onwards. He joined Tottenham initially on loan from Manchester City, after previously playing for Arsenal, Real Madrid and Monaco. The hitman is thought to prefer a move to another Premier League side, but Marseille hope to tempt back to France for the first time since leaving Monaco in 2006....
