Wenger backs Arsenal star to shine against Chelsea
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has backed Petr Cech to thrive against former club Chelsea today as the goalkeeper faces his old employers. The long-serving Blues custodian lost his number one jersey at Stamford Bridge to Thibaut Courtois and opted to leave West London in a search for regular first-team football. Cech has featured for the Gunners in the Premier League this season and also was part of the Arsenal side that defeated Chelsea at Wembley in the Community Shield earlier this term.
