Arsenal Target Kostas Manolas Came Close To Joining Chelsea
It has been reported that Roma defender Kostas Manolas came close to joining Chelsea on deadline day. Italian sources revealed that Chelsea made an attempt for Manolas before settling on a deal for Reading defender Michael Hector. Manolas, 24, is aware of the rumours, but insists he has no regrets. He told CalcioMercato.it: 'I can only say that I have five-year contract here and I want win it all with this team.' Manolas has also been a long-term target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
