Why Gabriel shouldn't face ban despite improper conduct charged
Gabriel Paulista was unfairly given his marching orders against Chelsea last weekend, with Mike Dean making a hash of yet another Arsenal game. Thankfully the FA saw sense and rescinded the Brazilian's ban retrospectively, but there are suggestions he could still face a separate ban, according to the Daily Star. As the report suggests, Arsenal successfully appealed the violent conduct charges. Gabriel is still facing charges for improper conduct however, with the 24-year-old failing to leave the pitch immediately after being shown the red card – instead remaining on the field to continue arguing with Chelsea players.
