Arsene Wenger hits back at David Ospina critics
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has backed David Ospina in the wake of recent widespread criticism aimed towards the goalkeeper. The Colombia international was at fault for one of the goals as Olympiacos pulled off a shock 3-2 win at the Emirates Stadium last week. Wenger has once more been forced to defend his decision to given Ospina the nod, as opposed to starting regular first-choice stopper Petr Cech, claiming that the keeper's critics are wrongly trying to 'kill him off'.
