Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil's first-half blitzkrieg inspires Arsenal to 3-0 victory over Manchester United
Arsenal beat Manchester United 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday to leapfrog their arch-rivals in the Premier League table. An Alexis Sanchez brace and a Mesut Ozil goal gave Wenger's side a 3-0 lead in a 20-minute blitzkrieg in the first half to which United had no answer. Though United had come into this game in better form after a dismal Champions League midweek for the Gunners, it was Arsene Wenger's side that swept aside Louis van Gaal's team to claim all three points to get their first win over the Red Devils at home since 2011.
