Arsene Wenger: 'I don't understand the reasoning behind Brendan Rodgers axe'
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has questioned Liverpool's decision to sack Brendan Rodgers. The Merseyside outfit terminated Rodgers's contract five days ago, three hours after Liverpool drew 1-1 with Everton at Goodison Park. In his three years in charge at Anfield, Rodgers failed to win a piece of silverware, but he guided the team to within one point of Premier League champions Manchester City in 2014.
