Aston Villa To Rumble Arsenal Plans For Breel Embolo
It has been reported that Aston Villa have joined the interest in FC Basel striker Breel Embolo. The Mail on Sunday claims that Tim Sherwood sent scouts to watch the 18-year-old Swiss international forward score in his country's 7-0 rout of San Marino on Friday. However, Embolo won't come cheap with Basle wanting £20million for a player who is already being pursued by Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund. Tottenham were rebuffed in a £15m offer for the teenager in the summer while Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool, West Ham and West Brom have also watched him.
