Giroud Determined To Push Walcott For Place In Arsenal's Starting Eleven
It has been reported that Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is determined to push Theo Walcott for a place in the starting eleven for the Gunners. After a mixed start to the season, the 29-year-old has lost his spot to Walcott, who has been impressive for both club and country recently. Despite his fall down the pecking order, Giroud is determined to force his way back into Wenger's first team before too long. The French international said: 'It is something new for me. 'Whether it was at Tours, Montpellier or Arsenal, I have never experienced a situation like this, I have often played from the start. 'I need to take positives and to harden myself mentally.
