What a week it’s been for Arsenal. If any Premier League team is going into their match this weekend on a high it’s The Gunners. Victory over Bayern Munich was much more than three points, it was proof that Arsenal can hack it with the big boys and also a lifeline for their Champions League hopes that were beginning to look like they were over. Everton, on the other hand, are in a much lower, darker place. Following the emotion of last week’s tributes to the late, great Howard Kendall, defeat to Manchester United seemed almost secondary.
