Wenger To Be Offered New Long-Term Arsenal Contract
It has been revealed that Arsenal are preparing a new long-term contract offer for Arsene Wenger. The Gunners are top of the table after victory over Everton. The Sunday Mirror claims that Wenger will be rewarded for taking Arsenal to the top of the Premier League by being handed a new contract that will keep him at the Emirates until 2019. The club hierarchy are keen to keep Wenger and hand him a two-year extension to his current deal that runs out next season. Wenger has come under pressure over the last few years for failing to win the title since 2004. But he has proved this season that he still has the appetite and drive to bring success back to the club.
