Aleksandr Kokorin Urged To Turn Down Arsenal Interest

It has been reported that former Dnipro goalkeeper Vladimir Pilguy has questioned Arsenal's interest in young striker Aleksandr Kokorin. Kokorin's agent has confirmed Arsenal failed with a loan bid in August and there is talk of manager Arsene Wenger trying again in January. However, Pilguy says the striker isn't ready to move abroad. He told Izvestia: 'When you move abroad, it is important to be able to quickly settle into the pace of their football. You must go there with the intention of playing straight away. 'Many do not develop abroad for various reasons, including for this reason. 'I would tell Kokorin not to force things and stay with Dynamo (Moscow).'
