‘Absolutely amazing' ex-Gunner admits it was ‘a mistake' to leave Arsenal

Former Arsenal starlet Fran Merida has revealed that he regrets leaving Arsenal back in 2010, suggesting he was too impatient and should have remained at the club, as reported by Yahoo Sport (via the Mirror). Merida looked to have a bright future when he joined Arsenal at the age of 15, with Arsene Wenger describing him as an 'absolutely amazing player' (via the Mirror). After time spent out on loan however, he grew impatient with his lack of first team football and decided to leave.
