Tottenham look to beat Arsenal to Nigerian wonderkid transfer

Tottenham Hotspur may have failed to beat Arsenal in the North London Derby on Sunday, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side are looking to pip their rivals to the signing of Nigerian sensation Victor Osimhen. The wonderkid is currently setting the U-17 World Cup alight in Chile and has delivered a series of outstanding displays as the Super Eaglets have advanced to the final, which they will contest against Mali on Sunday evening. Osimhen has bagged nine goals to date, equalling the record set by Florent Sinama Pongolle and also held by Ivorian forward Souleymane Coulibaly.
