Ex-Arsenal Fullback Linked With Newcastle United
It has been reported that Newcastle United are interested in Roma fullback Ashley Cole. The former England international is expected to be cut loose by Roma in January after falling off the first team map this season. A return to England has been mooted for the former Arsenal and Chelsea star and Sky Italia says Newcastle are keen. Toon boss Steve McClaren has problems at left-back and worked with Cole as England coach. The veteran has also been linked with a MLS move.
