Fabregas admits to several Real Madrid talks
Chelsea midfieder Cesc Fabregas has admitted to holding discussions with Real Madrid at several times during his time at Arsenal. The former Arsenal man was in demand during his eight-year spell with the Gunners and the Bernabeu was one of his possible destinations before the 28-year-old joined Barcelona in 2011. The Spain midfielder, who has been out of form for his club, but whom starred in Friday’s 2-0 win over England in Alicante says he had discussions with Real on several occasions but claimed “it lacked the final step forward”.
