Real Madrid, Barcelona To Rival Arsenal For Mali U17 International
It has been reported that Mali U17 World Cup star Sidiki Maiga is wanted by Real Madrid and Barcelona. According to Sport, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Arsenal have already kicked off attempts to land the teenager. Tied to Real Bamako, Maiga cannot move to Europe until December 2016, when he turns 17 years of age. Barca will tread carefully given their youth recruitment issues with FIFA, but won't allow the chance to sign Maiga pass them by. Talk of a pre-contract is being mentioned, which would see Barca offer terms to Maiga for first option until bringing him to Europe next December on a new, permanent deal.
