[Video] Arsenal target's fair play gesture restores some faith in football
Breel Embolo has shown us that not every football player is totally bereft of morals, with act of fair play during Basel's 3-2 loss against Grasshoppers restoring faith in football that has been waning recently. Basel were losing late on, when a shot cannoned off the Swiss forward and went out for what should have been a goal kick. Much to the annoyance of Grasshoppers' fans and players however, the referee awarded a corner however, with Basel given the chance to put more pressure on their rivals. Embolo spoke to the referee though, informing him of his mistake. The decision was reversed, and Grasshoppers were given the goal kick. He was thanked by the referee as well as the opposition,...
