Which Chelsea star wishes he’d played with Liverpool great at Barcelona?
Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has outlined his regret at having never played alongside Luis Suarez at Barcelona. The Spanish international represented Barcelona for three seasons after leaving Arsenal, but his time in Catalonia didn’t overlap with that of Suarez. As Suarez moved to Barcelona from Liverpool in the summer of 2014, Fabregas went in the other way, returning to England when Jose Mourinho signed him for Chelsea. While Fabregas played his part in a superb Barca side, the Catalan giants have arguably gone to another level since the Spaniard’s departure, with Suarez joining Lionel Messi and Neymar in a sublime front three.
