Arsenal alerted as defensive target set to force Juventus exit
Arsenal have been alerted by speculation that Daniele Rugani is ready to make a transfer request in order to push his exit, according to Calciomercato, as reported by the Metro. The 21-year-old only joined from Empoli during the summer, but has struggled immensely in his efforts to hold down a regular role in the squad. He has been unable to overtake Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, and Andrea Barzagli to a centre-back role this season, a factor that looks to have fuelled his desire to leave.
