Man United legend waxes lyrical about Özil after Zagreb win
Rio Ferdinand was full of praise for Mesut Özil following our dominant 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb this past Tuesday night, and speaking on BT Sport he labeled the German playmaker an artist, as reported by the Mirror. The Manchester United legend was alongside Ian Wright and Steven Gerrard, and all three were highly complimentary about our record signing. 'He is someone that you love watching playing all the time,' Ferdinand said. 'When you are watching a player like him, he is an artist with his left-foot.
