Youngster joins York City on loan
Arsenal have confirmed that young defender Stefan O'Connor has joined York City on loan. The 18 year old will play at Bootham Crescent in League Two until January 6th, providing him with valuable first team football. O'Connor made his debut for Arsenal last season in the Champions League, coming on as a 77th minute repalcement for Mathieu Debuchy away at Galatasaray. The Gunners won that night 4-1, Aaron Ramsey scoring a goal that should have won awards. Good luck to the young man, it's a big difference between Arsenal's academy and the realities of lower league football, hopefully he copes well enough.
